Nursing Considerations
• do not take with alcohol-disulfiram reaction
• assess for infection before and during treatment
• obtain cultures before therapy
• monitor neurologic status: parasthesia, weakness, ataxia, or seizures
• monitor intake and output, daily weights
• may alter liver enzyme tests
